Toula Limnaios is a contemporary dance company that has been based in Berlin since 2003. The entire ticket sales process as well as the box office management is handled by the ticket shop, which was developed using Drupal.

LAKdev is responsible for general Drupal maintenance tasks as well as the further development of the custom modules. Our tasks included the development of an improved seat selection, the voucher function and various improvements of the ticket system.

The customer requirement

One challenge was to improve and optimize the seat selection, voucher function and ticketing system for the event platform. It was necessary to develop an efficient and user-friendly system that would allow users to easily select their seats, redeem vouchers and use the ticketing system smoothly. This required the implementation of features such as interactive seating maps, a smooth voucher redemption process, and user-friendly ticket management. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate these features into the existing event platform while ensuring high performance and stability to keep events running smoothly.This then resulted in the further requirements:

Improvements to the ticketing system.
