Toula Ticket Shop - Drupal module development
Toula Limnaios is a contemporary dance company based in Berlin since 2003, where it operates its own production venue and theater. The entire ticket sales process and box office management are handled through a custom ticket shop developed specifically in Drupal.
LAKdev is responsible for general Drupal maintenance tasks as well as the further development of custom modules. Our work included developing an improved seat selection feature, a voucher function, and various enhancements to the ticketing system.

The customer requirement
One challenge was to improve and optimize the seat selection, voucher function and ticketing system for the event platform. It was necessary to develop an efficient and user-friendly system that would allow users to easily select their seats, redeem vouchers and use the ticketing system smoothly. This required the implementation of features such as interactive seating maps, a smooth voucher redemption process, and user-friendly ticket management. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate these features into the existing event platform while ensuring high performance and stability to keep events running smoothly.This then resulted in the further requirements:
- Seat selection
- Voucher function
- Improvements to the ticketing system.
